Living in the same metropolitan area and sharing the same Line 1, yet I had never visited Uijeongbu before. It was the news about the Uijeongbu Prugio Classiel site that finally led me to visit this place for the first time in my life.

To get to the site, I had two options since I had to take Line 1: either transfer to the light rail at Hwaryong Station or get off at Uijeongbu Station, which is just one station away, and switch to the light rail Uijeongbu Station via the underground shopping area, about 200m away. Being my first time, I chose to transfer at Hwaryong Station and got off at Dong-o Station.

This is a photo from the Uijeongbu Light Rail website, and there's something romantic about a train running through the city with a clear view. Each station is only about 1~2 minutes apart, and surprisingly, there are sudden accelerations and stops, so it's best to hold onto the handles. The train has fewer seats than I expected, but surprisingly, it was quite crowded.

Exiting the ticket gate, you can see the path leading to Exit 2, and astonishingly, the construction site at the end of that path is where Uijeongbu Prugio Classiel is being built. It really isn't called a 2-minute walk for nothing.

When you exit, you'll see it's marked as Entrance 2, and behind that white metal sheet is the apartment site. And if you're worried about how elderly people or those using wheelchairs might access it, there's an elevator halfway, so there's no need to worry.

Next to Uijeongbu Prugio Classiel flows Buyongcheon, with a waterside walkway, bicycle path, and exercise equipment installed, making it a great location for those who enjoy light exercise or walking.

Right in front of the site, not only is it a prime location near Dong-o Station, but also the Uijeongbu Intercity Bus Terminal is just 100m away, making it an excellent location for those who travel out of town or enjoy trips. Especially for those who like bicycle trips, the path starting from Buyongcheon passes through Jungnangcheon to the Han River, making it possible to travel even to Busan via connected roads.

This photo was taken while waiting for the train at Dong-o Station. It looks like the yellow building in the background is Geum-o Middle School. I'll share more about the educational district next time.

Just across a bridge from Dong-o Station Exit 1, Sin-gok-dong is connected, and considering that Dong-o Elementary School is about a 3-minute walk and Sin-gok Middle School is 500m away from Uijeongbu Prugio Classiel, it seems to be a safe distance for commuting to school.

That's all for now, and I'll share more detailed stories about the model house and the pre-sales next time!
